Privacy

Two separate things share this name, and they behave differently. This page says what each one does in plain words.

The application

3DFastCraft, the program you download, never connects to anything. It has no account, no telemetry, no update check and no network code of any kind. Your models stay on your own machine, and nothing on this site ever learns what you make with it.

This website

The site is static files. It sets no cookies, runs no scripts and uses no analytics. Nothing is stored in your browser beyond its ordinary cache, and there is nothing to accept or decline.

The fonts

Type is served by Google Fonts, because the page cannot be read without it. Fetching a font tells Google your IP address and browser, as fetching any file from any server does; no cookie is set and nothing is stored on your machine beyond the browser's ordinary cache. Self-hosting the fonts would remove even that, and it is on the list.

The server log

The web server keeps ordinary access logs — IP address, time, the file requested, the page you came from, the browser string — as every web server does. They are used to see whether the site is up, to spot abuse, and to count visits in aggregate, and they are not joined to anything else or shared with anyone.

Downloads

The download button is a link on this site that redirects to GitHub, which is where the releases are hosted. That redirect is logged here before you get there, and in more detail than an ordinary page request: the time, your IP address, your browser string, the languages your browser says it prefers, and the handful of Sec-Fetch and Sec-CH-UA headers a browser sends on a click.

Those last few are the reason for it. GitHub reports a download count and nothing else, so a person downloading the program and a crawler fetching the file look identical; the headers a browser sends and a script does not are what tell them apart. It is used to count real downloads and see roughly which countries they come from.

No cookie is set, nothing is stored in your browser, the log is not joined to anything else or shared with anyone, and it is rotated away with the server's other logs. From the redirect onwards you are on github.com and GitHub's own privacy terms apply.
